Title: iRiver H320 install
Post by: Anonymous on July 12, 2005, 22:46
Junked my iPod for an iRiver H320 (stores 5000 tracks and now plays video too, via software upgrade!) - anyone know if I can do a custom install to my HU? - here's the bugbear, the MR2 is a Euro import with the Toyota TM4412 HU - it's really a Panasonic model, underneath. Already done the casette converter option which was fine, but lookng for something a bit neater...

I have the exact same problem with my H340 and the same head unit.  The only other option is buying an FM transmitter along the lines of an Itrip.  Iriver America sells them but there are alternatives.

i know, its cr*p, main problem i had with my ipod one was that where i am there were no spare radio frequencies to use and even if i was somewhere that i could use it them i would find that as i travelled it would suddenly die as a radio station came into range, really good idea but the airwave are more like the M25 at rush hour. sound is fuzzy at best, mind you though my system throws up bad audio quality like no tomorrow. Do Dension do an iriver link?

Good luck
