I like those wheels, they look great  s:D :D s:D

What kind fo side turn signals do you have?
Title:
Post by: Anonymous on August 16, 2003, 20:59
universal ovals with the l.e.d lights inside.when they are on you have about 6 seperate lights indicating rather than just 1 bulb.
i was unsure about which wheels to go for but i am so glad i had these fitted.i wanted something other than the 5 spoked standards.
the pictures dont show how good these wheels go with the car.

Silver & red just can't be beaten      s:D :D s:D

What have you got under the side indicator  s:?: :?: s:?:

Looks good.

jonboy

There was something troubling me about that rear-view shot. Then I realised that it needed what 10 of us have ordered in the Group Buy - a Hayward & Scott twin-tipped sports exhaust  s:!: :!: s:!:    s:!: :!: s:!:

Silver and red - the perfect combination IMHO.

i totally agree but i cant afford it at the moment.already had a price quote from hayward for a twin, twin exit port, which was very acceptable.
my rear spoiler finally turned up so had to fit it.

Just a thought, I am not sure the spoiler is a joke, so no offence intended by any of us I am sure.

Its all a matter of personal taste, whatever makes you happy.   s:lol:  s:lol:

omg yes I agree, but if you put a pic online you expect to take the good & the bad comments.

My philosophy is "if I like it & I own it, who cares what everone thinks"

I was thinking about this last night that Jonboy is probably very proud of what mods he has made, and must think that we are a load of dissers. So sorry Jon if any offence taken, just not my cup of tea.

none taken.i am very thick skinned so no offence taken.
me and my girlfriend like the spoiler even though she didnt when i first put it on,i even had reservations myself but i think it looks better in person rather than just a picture.
at least i got more replies after i put the pictures of the car with the spoiler than without.
thanxs to everyone for being honest and some of the comments were rather funny, especially the one about the tv aerial.
i will try it when i put the telly in the car.  s:lol:  s:lol:

Look forward to seeing it in the flesh at the next meet we are both at.

Glad to see that you did not take offence, I felt a bit guilty about everything i/we said.

Still think it looks like a Serria Cosworth now though   s:lol:  s:lol:    s:lol:  s:lol:    s:lol:  s:lol:    s:lol:  s:lol:

Am glad you're happy with it.  I'm one of those that doesn't think it suits the '2... that said I think the '2 could really do with some sort of rear spolier or wing.

I know, such terrible problems... good job I can bring myself to drive the '2, even in it's un-winged state, until we get it sorted  s:) :) s:)

It took me ages to think that one up!!!  Glad you took it well.  It may not be everyone's cup of tea but it makes your '2 different from the rest and you like it so that's what counts.

I was more inclined to go with something a bit smaller and more subtle... like the spoiler I think Buster has.   I don't think my car is low enough, or has enough skirts etc. to look right with a racing wing on.
