Title: Portable MD Player Holder
Post by: Jigwar on July 28, 2005, 14:40
With the Sony Minidisc Changer (MDX-66XLP) unable to play High Density Minidiscs (am i correct in this assumption?) i have resorted to bringing my portable MD Player along for the ride and playing it through a cassette adapter; however, it has a tendy to bounce all over the place at the mo and so i am looking for something to hold it. I'm thinking of somesort of cup holder adapter, does anyone know of something suitable on the market? I know there is one for the IPod but howabout the Walkmans?

  s:?: :?: s:?:

Or else i'm thinking of hacking up the bottle of [insert well know fizzy drink] infront of me and colouring, stuffing, shaping that as necessary.

Don't know whether they're suitable or not, but there's some holders here.

Thats the sort of thing, but i'd like to avoid clipping/sticking to vents and windows, plus keep the player down near the tape deck - the cup holder just seems to be ready and waiting for such an adapter.

Something like this one.........

........ but more universal would be ideal   s:) :) s:)   - the Sony MD Players tend to be wider than they are taller.

so get one and adapt it to your design, i did that sort of thing for my ipaq holder and its not that hard, just put a bit of thought into it first
