I was changing my tax disc today when I lost one of the screws from the holder. It fell from the holder and went down the front of the dash and seems to have disapeared.
Any ideas where it's likely to have gone? Chances of getting it back?
Will it cause the most annoying rattle from now on?

none, sorry, but you could try taking out the glovebox and looking in behind

probably, but at least you'll know where it is?? s:roll:  s:roll:
If you've got one of the richbrook ones, they do a "replacement" kit for a few quid which includes sticky pads, allen key and a new screw. I did the same as you, but come replacement time this year, I got the kit and replaced the screw and the stickies.
Lost two of mine doing the same thing, before having the sense to put a cloth or piece of paper underneath to catch any dropped screws.
The one's that dissapeared have never been any bother and the holder has worked ok with just three screws in for the last two years.
I dunno, all you boys with your fancy tax disc holders!!
Bet you're jealous of my dealer standard sticky one now huh? s:lol:  s:lol:

It was the only '2 related pressy I received that I didn't have to drop hints about and leave a technical spec lying around - apart from the sports cap, that is s:oops:  s:oops:
P.S. Mine actually says "NEXT" on it, is that some sort of omen?
And before anybody makes a t*t of themselves, yes, I do know where it was bought from.
I have also lost two of mine struggling to put them back in at the bottom end; just leave them out and make your life easier next time s:wink:  s:wink:
