I was selling them in the shop and i thought it was a novel idea, espec with the cup holders infront of the H/U.

 s:lol:  s:lol:

At least if you ever accidentally drive your car into a river you'll be able to salvage one piece!   s:wink:  s:wink:

It's certainly novel but I can't really see any practical purpose for it I'm afraid. It also looks a bit too 80's for my taste.

How much was it out of interest?

Instead why not get an MRS spray deck fitted.

Then you can do rolls in the wet too

Why? Surely it's for a boat?

I got the cover seperately for the same reason.

What is the function of the lid ? does it keep things in or does the compartment leak otherwise ?

Philster.

It was £199 which isn't TOO bad...not great but its a talking point  s;) ;) s;)

Yeah it is for a boat........the g/f spilt Maccies cola on the last one so i thought this'd solve the problem  s;) ;) s;)

I'm thinking of getting some of the tower speakers for the roll over bar LMAO

now thats different, could make the back end look out of balance though on our little cars would it affect the raiseing of the hood as well?

That's true......guess its a bolt on when you know its gonna be hot......might see if i can see some which sit below the bar...perhaps 5.25" would work!

you may be able to create an extender plate to move the pod forward though and hence remove the obstruction problem

I reckon it may solve the rear speaker (or lack of) problem and save chopping the locker doors up....they're also water resistant being boat speakers so they'd be ok on that front.

Just found some with lighting pods on them too.....an MR2 which looks like a pickup truck lmao

Philster.

If you put something reasonably hard or heavy in the frunk, ad go over a large bump or something, the plastic lid is the thing that stops you're luggage putting dents in your bonnet...  s:wink:  s:wink:

Well having seen a mk3 without its front tray at JAE I am quite keen to work on that and make a front boot. Theres plenty of space there.
