Title: How Easy To Remove The Door Panels?
Post by: Anonymous on August 3, 2005, 14:37
The Speakers in the front sound like they have bust and i'm thinking about replacing them, looking for the following info:

How do I remove the panel?

What size of speaker fits straight in where the old ones come out?

Not looking for anything fancy, just a straight swap

See here (http://www.spydermagazine.com/2000/Sept/doorpanel/doorpanels.htm) on how to remove the door panels.

Stock speaker size is 16.5 cm, so anything that size will fit, but be warned you'll probably have to make up a spacer for the speaker so that it clears the window when down. I heartily recommend Focals for replacements, they're a cheap but well worthwhile upgrade. Imho, obviously.   s:wink:  s:wink:
