Just got back from 2 weeks' holiday during which I left the hard top on the car. I hadn't had it on the car since the spring.
Now it seems that one of the latches on the pillars will not stay locked. I've adjusted the tension in it using the screw adjuster, but it will not stay put. It keeps popping out and the little push-in locking mechanism doesn't go down far enough to stop it, maybe because it's worn.
Any ideas? If not, any idea what the part number for a new latch is and what it might cost?

Is the roof snagged somehow? or the strap? the extra pressure and not quite meeting roof could maybe pop the clip (beware I knoqw very little about it yet s:) :) s:) )

if i was you Steve, i'd start by takeing it off, you may have it slightly cocked and this is causeing pressured on the latch, causing it to pop, it will also give you a better chance to inspect the latch for any defects
May sound silly, but have you made sure the hard top has fitted correctly on the silver clips near the boot ?
It's easy to mis-align them. As said above, remove completely, get additional help and check that the back two slides are in correctly.... if they are the clips should work a dream.
