Title: Removing Air Box lid
Post by: Anonymous on September 15, 2005, 16:09
I tried to remove my air box lid last weekend to replace the panel filter but had trouble getting it off. I've done it before but had no luck this time.  Is there something i'm forgetting?

Remove hose from clips, Unclip 2 brackets at the rear and then try to click the front two plastic pieces out of place.  Those plastic pieces just would not move.  I tried to use a flat head screw driver to pop it open but had no luck.

Anyone know how much a replacement box costs?

Cheers,

Viggs

Once you've un-done the two metal clips, slide the lid towards the front of the car.

Take the inlet duct out first, it gives a bit more leeway.
