Good Q! My 'strings' have been hanging about for ages - can't seem to find where they go! Also the tray doesn't seem to fix too well to anything either!  s:shock:  s:shock:

There's always the choice of taking it off  s8) 8) s8)

I never used it anyway and haven't missed it once. When the top is down, it doesn't make much difference if it's there or not. When the top is up you have more space for bigger items as the shelf doesn't block them anymore.

I've also removed the storage bin doors, so it's just as easy to toss stuff in there than would be on the shelf if the doors are closed.

Just behind and above the headrests of the seats, hanging from one of the cross members for the roof, you will see two bits of small strap with a popper on each. Unpop, put the string in and pop together!!

The shelf just hangs from these two points.    s:) :) s:)

I would but the cloth behind the wind deflector is an unsightly cream colour which you can see through the rear window!   s:scared: :scared: s:scared:
