Title: TTE rear spoiler
Post by: Tem on August 26, 2003, 18:58
IIRC, someone wanted to see a pic of one with the top up. There you go...sorry about the crappy quality.

Sorry, does nothing for me. It's a personal choice but no thank you.

I will never be one to rag on someone, I would prefer it on the back over the bumper myself

And one of the few legal ones, since it doesn't block the brakelight.
(I guess the small ones that attach to the bumper are also legal)

No, it's not my car, my gf just saw it on town and took quick pics with Palm.

I've never liked that spoiler, looks very odd to me. Also looks like it will make fitting the hardtop (which that car has) very difficult too.

It doesn't interference with the hardtop.

Saw one on a red '03 over here. It looked brilliant. Admittedly it wasn't mounted in such a stupid place – more towards the back of the car. Previously I'd only seen it in piccies and hated it. If I ever got a new '2 I'd certainly consider it. In black.

I bet that would make all the difference in the looks.

I thought the TTE spoiler was bigger than that? Is that the same one in the MR2 Accessories list?

That one looks like the 'Sports Spoiler' from the accessory list - see here:

I thought that as well mate, haven't seen one fitted to a car yet though.

All of the 'Sports Accessories' are TTE part IIRC.
