Title: Auto door lock / unlock with ignition activate / deactivate

Any one help with the procedure to activate the auto lock unlock as described in the owners package for a Sept 05 (55 reg) MR2. Dealers wish to consult the main toyota computer but have yet failed to respond  s:oops: :oops: s:oops:

I dont have this procedure, although it is enabled on my car.  Currie Motors in Barnet did the honours... Dont know if thats anywhere near you as you haven't added your location to your profile....  s:roll: :roll: s:roll:

beleive you need to have a computer to program the unit on this one i'm afraid, you'll need to visit Mr.T to get them to do it for you

Thanks so far, looked back on the forum and found a response from "autodog" with the following link:

I've printed it off but the risk of catastophic failure suggests I should try it outside the main dealers just in case.

I unplugged my battery at the weekend while i fitted the stereo sub.

Now my alarm doesnt beep anymore on the second press, I havent tested the autolock but is it possible I reset everything?

try removing the battery from the key fob and holding down both key fob buttons at the same time if you experience problems   this removes any residual memory faults in the fob    refit fob battery and try again  should reset and resycronise car and fob    or ask dealer to do it whilst there
