Blueflame have a good reputation, but not too sure about the 8HP.

IMO if you are going to throw away a half decent exhaust and get a new one, I would go for a twin rather than single pipe.

vertually unreadable on the Bhp side, as for fitting a few have been quoted on the £450 side recently

Or H&S   s8) 8) s8)  . I am not to sure if anybody has actually done a dyno with a before and after of just an exhaust, but you might IMO, might mind you, get 2 - 3HP. Its more the looks and sound.

Both TTE and H&S though will cost you a lot more than £199 + £25 fitting. Got to be talking around the £400+ mark

I have the Blueflame exhaust and the car is  quicker.
Dont know what BHP it would equal or whether the increase in speed is due to the difference in weight, the combination of exhaust, no precats and replacement inlet pipe, or the exhaust on its own. But I fitted it last of all those mods and it made the biggest difference.

Just curious, any probs with fitting? I had to "tweak" one of the mounting prongs (technical term) when I fitted one to my last car (puma) to get the pipe to sit centrally in the cut-out on the bumper.

The quality and finish however was excellent, and the sound was subtle at tickover and deep (not chav screamy) on the move...most excellent.     s:wink:  s:wink:

Love to know what you think of yours on the 2    s:mrgreen:  s:mrgreen:

Got a local MR2 specialist to fit it for me   s:oops:  s:oops:

My impressions of it can be found here

In short, In my opinion,

Positives: The car is faster and handles better.
Negatives: I think the tip is too large.
Neutral: It is quite loud, but once bedded in acceptably so.

Deep would be the word!
