I really like the look of it ... BUT does it have recording capability for G's and speed? Otherwise I think it's a bit pointless as there is no way you could look at that monitor whilst driving 'commited'

Not quite the pioneer thing - but saw something similar on the dash of a new / or prototype of the new Merc.

The dashboard is effectly an LCD panel and will display what you like from, lovely looking Dash instruments, to Sat Nav, to front camera / rear camera display..... Seems that the age of Knight Rider, just might be upon us.

LCD are getting cheaper and what better way than to make everything electronic and do away with all the seperate displays and allow the owner to choose what he wants to see.... looked great.

anyway - very similar to the pioneer thing, so I thought I'd mention it.

Well, it's reasonable price (though you need to use it with a pioneer screen, as it has a 26 pins RGB connector, but perhaps can be adapted to a RCA connector, and could be used with any VGA screen...   s:roll: :roll: s:roll:  ):

According to the write up it records everything - for later analysis!!
