Does anyone know of an ipod connection kit for the fisher price set yet, or any comapny who are developing one?
you might want to look at this and drop them a line regarding the compatability, its not on the list for the UK but is for the US

The 2004 US headunit has a different CD data socket to ours (found out the hard way) and I STILL haven't found a wiring diagram for the US headunit so can't even modify the one I have s:evil:  s:evil:
could always buy an itrip, thats what i use and I think it does the job perfectly however others have complained that theirs haven't been very good.
Richie.
I've tried the itripy thing which transmits on an fm frquency, wasn't that taken by it tbh. A pukka hardwired solution would be much better.
I have my MP3 player working through the Fisher Price unit and it works well. There is no readout on the head unit though and you can't use a CD changer but the sound is a lot better than the buzzy interference prone FM modulator that I have on my other car.
You might try this thread to see what I used.

Thanks for the link m8
I've sent an email to them for more info.
Do you have any images of the ipod install or maybe the wiring hack you carried out?
