Hi

I have this bracket fitted to my MR2.

 m http://www.dashmount.co.uk/additionsmarch/71354.htm (http://www.dashmount.co.uk/additionsmarch/71354.htm) m

Major problem is that the bracket is slack as an elephants backside, quite flexible. It shakes around all over the place and could give you an epileptic fit at night with the vibrating light effect.

Due mainly to all the weight on the end of a flexible piece of metal.

Its a profesional install with decent sound quality etc, was done for me by my company, but there is no bracing to the mount at all.

I have been thinking about loosing the mount and just having the phone in the glove box or cubby box. With the wires coming up and out inside the cubby hole and taking the phone out still attached to the wires to make a call. But I think thats illegal.

Anyone got any bright ideas or better mounts, that wont do too much damage to my dash ? ie something solid !!!

Grant(GSB) made one of those and at the mo i'm not aware of any problems that he had, perhaps you may want to do the same and make it out of a thicker guage material
