Noise coming from the inside of the car, either from the passengers side door or the gear surround/handbreak area, it is doing my head in, not a loud noise but irritating, the noise sounds like a needle clicking/squeeking, checked and cannot see where this bloody noise is coming from.
Sick of turning the music up to drown it out......... s:evil:  s:evil: s:evil:  s:evil: s:evil:  s:evil:
If you can pinpoint the noise down towards the centre console Daz, then it could be the same as mine. I put mine down to the very simple thing of the seatbelt catch just rubbing against the side of the seat and a little of the console. All I do now is push the catch downwards towards the seat and the sound goes away. Obviuosly, I could be well off the mark, but I don't think I am the only one who has had a similar noise and its been that cause........
Hope it helps
What you mean as if the seatbelt is not fully home, now when I think about it I see it could be that actually, doing my bloody head in, high pitched noise that only me can hear, my girlfriend doesn't hear it but i must be sitting looking out for it. Leaving work in 10mins so will try and see if the seatbelt holder is the problem.
Fingers crossed it is.
Any luck?
Got in the car last night mate and the wee cricket was making the noise again, moved the drivers seatbelt thing about and that seemed to work, never heard it this morning mate so fingers crossed that is it.
I wonder why it makes the squeeking noise, maybe put a bit of wd40 on it.

Worth a go, but just be careful of the upholstery/leather (delete as applicable). Also, when I move it, it doesn't come back for most of the journey. Only if I get in and out of the car so it moves. Might not be worth it after all......
See what you think
think i will leave the wd40 the now then mate and see if it does come back, that is the only noise in the car so back to a peaceful journey ( touch wood)
Noise is back!!!!

Hmmmmm......then at a bit of a loss then mate. Not sure anymore. If you find out what it is, let us know!
take the pax seat out and go for a drive, time to isolate parts, also it gives you a chance to inspect the seat rails for coins, others have had that one already
don't really fancy taking seats out but I will be looking high and low over the weekend to see what the bloody noise is.
its 4 bolts and a connector! 2minutes work and if you want to isolate your problem then you need to start doing a few things to aid fault finding
if that is all that it is mate then maybe give it a try at the weekend
