Post by: Anonymous on November 18, 2005, 16:52
hi all. i noticed 2day that my drivers side electric mirror has stopped working. the passenger side is fine and as far as i can tell they both work off the same fuse, so it cant be that. any ideas anyone?

heres the wireing diagram, the power comes from the radio fuse and yes theres only one power source for the mirrors

chances are its the switch, as theres 2 motors in the mirrors and if ones dead then the other would still work, but if both are dead then the chances are its the switch, If you have a multimeter then it'll be a 2 minute job to bell it out, if not find someone who has one and have a go

alternatively, could you pop the fuse out and swap the connectors over so that you are using the switch for the passenger side? that would be a quick way of ruling out if its possible?
