Title: is it possible?

i have got the mr-s which come with a jap dvd and sat nav system double din head unit and tv, i was thinkin of replacin the headunit with a dvd head unit as the jap one cant b chipped, is it possible or easy to wire up the new headunit to the standard tv or is the wirin in the imports different?

You would need to take a look at the connections into the screen.  If they are AV which would be handy, you could experiment by plugging a PS2 into it or something similar just to check it works correctly before dishing out for a new Headunit.  If you need a hand give me a shout.

cheers hun,
i wanna get rid of the head unit and put in a dvd one, halfords said they would connect to the tv free of charge but just wondered if the connections were different to the uk spec one
