Title: Rear Windscreen bonding
Post by: Anonymous on January 20, 2006, 13:48
Hi,

I have just become the proud owner of a 2000 MR2 Roadster, so far all seems to be good and I am very pleased. Could anyone offer some advice for the rear windscreen though, in one corner is is coming unbonded from the canvas (or what ever it is).

Anyone know what I could use to patch this?

cheers

David

i'd be trying a trip to autoglass and asking them, i suspect it'll be some form of epoxy contact adhesive like fastbond 10 but i'm not convinced that'll stick to glass

Fixed mine with a glue meant for attaching the rearview mirror to the windshield and it has been fine since.
