Title: The starter motor
Post by: Anonymous on January 23, 2006, 17:17
I've recently bought a mr2 roadster. year 2000 1.8. i need to change the starter motor. How do you get to the mounting bolts? I can see the bottom bolt but not the top. Is there any special way of getting to it?  s:evil:  s:evil:    s:evil:  s:evil:

There is one bolt on the bell housing side and one on the starter motor side.  Top and bottom of the starter motor.

I have some used ones, if you need one.

thanks much appreciated! Just hope it's the starter. when i turn the key nothing. when i bump it turn it off then it will start on the key. turn it off then start it nothing again. any chance off it being the starter relay? or just a sticky starter.
