Title: HKS or K&N?

i am seriously thinking of buying an air filter but which would you recomend and what gives the best noise?

For me, I wouldn't put anything other than the TRD air filter in. Great quality, best chance of a power increase, and coupled with a Markiii inlet duct it sounds ace.

You're right: When he said 'air filter', I just assumed he meant drop-in type filter. My bad.

Yup, the A'Pexi induction kit is quality too. Not as much power as the TRD + inlet duct, but a better noise for sure.

ive just got an inlet duct so now looking for the trd air filter, the one that you dont need to oil,  any idea of costs as only one i can find is the oil one?

I Have an AEM Cold Air intake kit, It sounds amazin, but also quiet when you want it to be, Definately get a thumbs up from me.

All the ones he (Dieamond) did last time were non-oiled I believe - who said they were oiled? Could it be just an old picture? Have you checked with him direct?

nope, I've bough one from MRS-passion recentlly and it's the dry one
