Post by: Anonymous on February 8, 2006, 23:14
This maybe a question more for the guys with turbo's but has anyone ever tried cool blue 106 octane (unleaded)? its a street racing fuel, supposed to get extra gains in HP?!

As with any high octane fuel, it will make no difference to a stock car unless you tune for it - and for that you will need a unichip / Emanage / PFC etc.

my old tubby would learn the fuel, but if you put in nasty 95 ron it might go to safety mode and limit things.

I put £5 in once and appologised to the car as i pumped it "sorry no optimax, dont hate me car!"
