Title: In the middle of a Hass Stage II Install... Questions...
Post by: Anonymous on February 12, 2006, 00:53
I am chugging along with my Hass Stage II install.

One thing I noticed, I have 5 wires from my emanage left, and I didnt get an injector harness? I had 2 harness' with my emanage.

Second, while doing my injectors, I noticed they had Orings already (bought this kit used from another member) and I installed them. Everything seems to fit bolts went on without any ish, besides some fuel to clean up. Now I just have to splice and install the injectors I take it.

Any tips would be welcomed, as tomorrow the coolant hoses, pan tap, and oil lines go and she "hopefully" starts up!

Hi Jae, you use the spare wires left over for the injectors instead of a seperate harness IIRC. Download Bill's intructions from Midsouthspyders (can't find the link at the moment as SC is down) for a better respresentation of the wiring, but this is from Jay's original guide -

Quote from: " Jay Hass"The kit comes with the Greddy ignition harness.  After you wire the ignition portion of the Greddy, you will have 4 left over wires that you will repin as the injector harness.

As for the injectors, cut the stock clips and connect the new ones, then install the injectors as normal. For the sake of a couple of dollars I would get new O rings to be on the safe side - my stock ones looked fine but I didn't want to risk it.

My only other tip is don't rush, especially with the oil pan - and don't forget to disconnect the crankcase breather and cap the hole left on the throttle body!
