This can be awkward. Undo the two obvious clips that you can see (look like little latches) then lift that edge up and pull away from the opposite side. TBH, I haven't had a standard airbox for so long I can't offer more advice! Anyone else got some tips?

Undo the two clips as Slacey says...

Pull the hose out of the clips in two places to get it out of harms way...

There's two clips moulded into the box at the front (back of car) that need a flat bladed screwdriver to prise them apart. These can be a bit of an arse but pop out eventually.

It you're just changing a filter then you can slide the old one out and push the new one in without taking the whole lid away from the box.

Have a look at  m http://www.spydermagazine.com/ (http://www.spydermagazine.com/) m  There is an article on  Injen Intake Installation there. That is the info I used to remove mine and fit my Induction Kit.

and if I can do it anyone can!!

Lift up the lid of the airbox and give it a damn good wiggle from side-to-side. With a bit of luck, it'll pop right off.
