Hey all,

I wondered if you could point me to an existing thread, or simply explain how I would go about installing an oil temperature guage for my '2? Is it a straight forward job? Just have NO idea where to put the wires etc or how it would even work....

/is clueless when it comes to this sort of thing

Basically, after physicall installing the gauge somewhere, you need power, signal and ground for it. Possibly another wire from/for lights. You can route the signal wire through where the ECU wires go, through the passenger side firewall.

Then you need to install the gauge sensor somewhere in contact with oil. You need an adapter for that, best get it from the gauge maker, if you're clueless about that stuff.  s;) ;) s;)  You can basically get it with a T connector from the stock oil pressure sender, with a sandwich plate under the oil filter or replacing the oilpan drain plug with one for the sensor.
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.
