Further to my previous post I have bought a replacement CAT but its J-spec and I have a UK car, I need to pick up a 22mm nut and have it welded into place.

I have rang around a few motor factors for a nut and none have stock that large, would it be best to try some companies specialising in fasteners?

Also, in terms of getting it drilled and welded in, would I need to take it to a welder to do, or would an exhaust fitter do it - if so does anyone know of any exhaust fitters that will?  (not sure the likes of kwik-fit would entertain it! - but would any high street exhaust company?)

Thanks

if you cant find a nut that size Leon, then you could always get a bung turned up on a lathe and weld that on. As for where to get one welded on, Kwik fit is a no no, but a decent exhaust shop will be able to weld. TBH i'd just take it to any garage, they all will be able to weld the bung on
