Any idea what those front spats from the new body kit look like?  I take it that they mean 2 parts and not a complete front spoiler???

horrible (IMHO) assuming its the one from the TRD kit (which the rest of it looks like it is) i would have the side skirts and rear kit, but the front looks a little ott from what ive seen.

I have fitted a start button to mine just to make it a bit cool. I bought one of the blue LED switches Made by Savage from Ebay I still use the key because of the transponder to disengage the immobiliser so turn to position 2 then press the button to start it is very cool. The switch shorts 5 & 6 of the ignition switch but not directly it passes through a relay contact which is normally open unless the ignition is in position 2 and the the hand brake is on. so If you get in Car at night put key in ignition turn on to pos 2 Start switch lights up press switch engine runs in gear handbrake off engine start switch off, also stops drunk passengers from playing when they shouldn't. I will post a pic.  s:twisted:  s:twisted:
SOLD No more 2. Just a bus for the family..........

It seems that most of the people adding to this thread have not attempted to fit a starter button and comments llike, 'it wont work with the ECU', and 'It makes it easy to splice' are not really helpful   s:? :? s:?
Done correctly it wont effect security and has nothing to do with thw alarm or key transponder.

Its not everyones cup of tea but if you are interested in fitting one heres the deal....
I have just fitted a starter button today.
I used a Honda S2000 button its about the best quality you can get. Its really easy to fit just taps into 2 wires on ignition loom and + - direct from battery or fuse box. You still use the ignition key to turn on electrics and turn off imobiliser etc. The S2000 button is designed to replace a ciggy lighter but as this is a bit low down on the 2 I made up a alu mounting plate and mounted on the blank switch panel just left of the steering wheel. Looks dam coo and is quite flash when you have someone sat in the passenger seat, also it make you feel like you are starting up a Spitfire, Chocks away!!!!!!!    s:D :D s:D

I got mine on Ebay as a kit complete with wiring, relay and instructions for wiring into MR2 Roadster from John Richardson at mx5alive (eBay ID) for £49.99 plus P&P  m http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 7955770147 m
Anyone wanting more info give me a shout.

You can if you have the time, replace the hazard lt switch for a starter button, as far as i'm aware the Richbrook one will fit. Then all you need is another switch to relocate the hazard light button.

for those interested in doing this, heres a quote from an old post on another site

Yes the Richbrook does fit in a number of places
The reason I have one is that my MRs came without an alarm or immobiliser so if anyone tried to steal it, it would make it harder
