How come when I access this site from work the smilies are animated, e.g. eyes rolling etc.

But whenever I access it from home, there are no animations and the images are static?  In both cases I am using IE 6 on Windows XP....

Don't have IE, but Opera has an option that only shows the first frame of animations. I'd guess IE has one too and you've set it on at home.
(or some friendly program decided to change it for you  s:lol: :lol: s:lol: )
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

Yep;

Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced Tab

A little over half way down the 'Settings' list, under 'Multimedia' is 'Play animations in web pages'.. If that's off, you only get the first frame of any animated gif.
