After six weeks of searching I have baught a matching silver hard top.
Collected today and with assistance of seller fitted in one hour. The cost including fitting kit £475.
Anyone looking for a hard top, take my advice, dont pay silly money they are out there for between £425 and £550 if you are prepaired to wait. Don't be mislead by reasent eBay prices.
The very quick dash to Ashbourne and back to Stafford with the new top on was great, I missed the rattles and rear vision was improved.

Well done.

Sometimes it's better to pay over the odds and not wait. If your impatient like me!

I found fitting a hardtop changes the 2 completely. It does not feel the same car. Although just the slightest hint of sun makes you think of going topless!

Well done Dave......... at least you don't have to re-spray it.

I can't live without my hardtop. I installed mine on the car last September and don't intend removing it until end of March / April time.

You will also notice that your car has less flex / feels more rigid with the top on.

That was a good price and it included the kit. I've been on the look out for a silver one too but the prices have been way OTT and didn't include the kit either  s:cry:  s:cry:

There was a silver hardtop on ebay last night at £400 but it was withdrawn for some reason? Surprisingly no bids were made!
Suggest asking seller a question? He may still have it for sales??
