Evening all  s:) :) s:)

I have searched and searched and can't find anything related to this question, so many apologies if it's a) daft and b) been answered before, but... my 2 doesn't appear to have an indicative light on the dashboard for my full beam headlights... not that it doesn't light up, it isn't there  s:lol:  s:lol:  I've looked in daylight as well, and the usual symbol for headlights isn't on my dashboard at all.

is this normal, or am I just being very dozy and it's actually either nonexistent or elsewhere in the car?   s:oops:  s:oops:

thank you muchly!

ooh, thank you, i'll check that in the morning... although i'm almost certain that where the headlight one is on your pic, mine is just white... but will nip out and take a photo in the morning when i'm less likely to slip over  s:D :D s:D

It's been a long time since I had a '2 with standard gauge overlays so I cant remember exactly, but I think all of the symbols are white-on-white until illuminated. This would suggest the bulb has probably blown in the cluster.

Simple enough to fix - pull the instrument surround off (it's only clipped on), undo 4 screws and you can get to the back of the cluster to change the bulbs.

Just becareful when putting the cluster back on....make sure the rear "clips" are lined up at the rear before pushing the cluster back on, I was too casual and broke a couple.
