I let my girlfriend have a go in the 2 about 2 months back..and of course I raised the seat hight adjuster so she could see over the dash (my gf is 23 just very short before I get any wise cracks!!)  s:lol:  s:lol:

Anyways needless to say I forgot to put the seat height down again..untill today! my oh my what a difference it makes..the steering feels so much better..you can predict the cars yaw movement miles better..can't believe the difference it's like going from a shopping hatch to a ferrari! I know its daft but I seriously cannot believe how much better the car feels!

I would have mine a lot lower but it ends up giving me back-ache in no time at all.

I lowered mine to the lowest setting this morning on my way too work.  Was initially very strange (like I was falling down the back of the seat)... but have come to like it now  s:) :) s:)

Yep totally agree...the car feels more exotic by a mile. Everyone should try it!

(N.B Mike does not accept responsibility for damaged backs trying to get out of your vehicle with the low seat)  s:lol:  s:lol:

Blimey! I am shuch a short arse (don't laugh, 5'5". Yep, I have short man symdrome........  s:wink:  s:wink:    s:lol:  s:lol:  ) so I automatically set the seat height to almost its highest setting (not quite. Found full up a bit uncomfortable). Last night I remembered this thread and tried lowering the seat a little (which does it only lower at the rear portion and not the front bolster?). What a difference?!!!  s:shock:  s:shock:   I didn't have any more visibility problems and the car DID feel different. Instead of sitting ON it, I actually felt like I was sitting IN it for the first time in a year.

How daft do I feel now. Makes me feel like I don't know my car!
