Like John said.nice idea..but the finish lets it down badly.  The red is not vibrant enough..on the roof, and wheel.  Looks very flat, and I'd imagine it will get even flatter in the sun.  Shame.

There's no centre wheel caps on the car in the photos.  I wonder if they will be different or just the standard ones as shown in the brochure.

Looks like its pre-inspection as it still has all the protective covers in the car... im guessing they are added at the dealers?   s:? :? s:?

I reckon the caps will be standard, as they have a red highlight on them anyway.

Not as good as I thought it would be either. The silver dash doesn't really go; why not just have the 'Red' model in red  s:?: :?: s:?:

I saw one in the flesh yesterday at Brooklyn Worcester.  I think I have to echo most of the comments here.  The roof isn't deep enough in colour - see the grey/maroon roof Audi A4 cabby for how it should be done.  The body kit is OK, but I wouldn't bother with (might lose it anyway if you have one lowered).  The seats are nice, but have perforated leather without the MR2 embossing on them.  They also still have those holes behind your neck.  I can live with the red door inserts, if forced.

As for the "Red" badge, two tone wheel & silver panel in the dash.  Well, I just thought they looked ricey.  Given that I wouldn't be nuts about buying that spec. I wouldn't spend 18500 on it.  Probably better to get a regular Sable and spend the difference on lowering springs, or a twin-out exhaust, or some extra bracing, or a decent head unit (yep, they didn't even bother to upgrade that for the "Red" version  s:-( :-( s:-(  ).

Never thought that I would say that I don't like the look of a '2 but....I don't like it...I have been told that there is a black '2 that frequents Southend Seafront which has a red roof, I presume this is a custom job, haven't seen it myself.

Saw a Roadster Red on my way to work today... dont think they will be joining by looking at the driver... (yet another woman that does not know what car she is driving   s:roll: :roll: s:roll:  ). drove along side for a couple of seconds to have a look and she didnt even glance over.

Roof could do with being just a touch darker but it didnt look too bad in the wet!

Saw one in the showroom @ Steven Eagells yesterday but it didn't have the side skirts I thought were meant to be included. Go have a proper look Kris; looks better in the fesh but the red is a bit pinky  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:
