Can't get them to work properly. Or better said, can't get them to turn off ! If I connect teh powercable, they heat, all the time.

Here is schematics of the wiring

To be complete:

The purple wire isn't purple, but red/blue
The green wire is green/black
The grey wire is white

I'm assuming the switch means off, heat one seat, heat two seats? I'd be tempted to just try a cheap on /off switch on the one or two setting.
Ex.MR2 SMT sadly missed.
Saab 9-5 Turbo, Hirsch stage 1, Sports suspension and anti roll bars, uprated disks, sports intake and filter and various other bits. 210bhp, 320Nm.
Talbot Express campervan with carb, distributor, coil and no cat! SOLD

No there's two switches, one on each side of the steering wheel. But on I and on II, the same green wire is switched on.

Seen rocker switches do this before when the power through them is too high. The rocker gets stuck in a position in this case on.

Is that your scematic or one that came with the heaters? If I had to guess, the switch is supposed to select low or high output which would entail having three connections to the controller PCB (gnd [brown] + 2 others). I suspect the purple being connected to red is the source of the problem, but without a circuit diagram of the controller I don't know for certain.

This is the one I drew up, this is how it was connected.

There is power going into the circuit through the red and the purple wire, power coming out of it through the green and the white.

..looking at your switch, these are the original Toyota ones same as mine. If so its a 3 position rocker switch. 1 - Low power  2- Off (Central)  3 - High Power...this is for one seat. Same repeated for passenger side.
