been quoted for 2nd hand exhaust manifold.................

was thinking (like the rest of you) about gutting my pre-cats and thought i would feel more comfortable doing this if i had a spare manifold incase it went tits up.

so shopped around a few salvage yards and have been quoted one for £75 plus vat.

what do you think to this price??

well considering that new they are at least £400 (thats delaer trade price not what they charge you and me) I'd say it was a very good deal.

just been told the part is off a 2002 model.

i'm assuming that the manifold on a 2002 model will be the same as my 2000 mr2??

It'll be exactly the same, but, you'll never ever use it...

as long as it's a MK3 MR2, then any year, J-spec, Uk, Euro or even US, will be fine.

Since it's that cheap ask him what teh main cat pipe is going for please  :-) :-) :-)
