Not sure if it really gives a carbon effect. However from this distance you wouldn't see the weave. Maybe just glossier.

I think it looks good. I think with black wing mirrors it would look even gooder. I think your black spoiler and alloys would tie it together as well. Not an over-the-top look, in my view. I am quite tempted to get my bonnet and wing mirrors black wrapped.

I think it looks pretty good, to be fair. It doesn't scream Boy Racer. I personally would opt for a more glossy black, though, but I think Pavett's spoiler is more matte so it might tie in pretty good. Alternatively, pink wing mirrors with black bonnet. Or a pink screaming Eagle on the bonnet!
