I've just got the latest RoadAngel and I wondered where is the best place to mount it?

Hi Les

I remember a thread in this subject area. Take a look here:

Liz's link to piccies of where she put hers is out of date but a clue as to where you can site and get cables through (note this was not for a road angel but the principle is the same for where wires can go) can be had by looking here - this occurs in the above thread:

Cheers Jim.

I noticed Liz's is quite different from the new version, but I was thinking of mounting it in the same place, as soon as It's up and running I'll post the results.

I managed to threadle my power lead through there the other day, a delivery man had to disturb me whilst I had my head down in the footwell and my legs up the back of the seat  s:oops:  s:oops:  , worth it though in the end as it looks much neater now.

Is the remote attatchment standard or an extra? the new version is just a unit on its own.

Will this mean I'll have to mount centre screen above the wiper blades for the best readings?

That is a Lasar detector, came as standard with mine, my base unit has no problem getting a signal where it is on the right hand side of the dash so yours should be ok.

Thanks Liz.
