Ok guys, after looking at this thread iv got a big to but a new head unit. At the moment i have a jvc double din with a touch screen, it plays dvds etc and is awesome. Im thinking of changing to the jvc kw-xr811 after seeing it on this thread,mainly for the phone connection to speak throu and also the 3 out puts that i need for 2 x subs and 1 x amp for front speakers but.......

my double din facia is detachable and i love that for security. What do you guys do who have double dins that are not detachable, do you just leave them on show constantly?

hi mate! yeah good choice in jvc headunit there mate. i have one for bout 3-4 months now and one of the best purchases ever! i normally just leave it on show having no removalable facia, however you could use the toyota hiding facia plate thingy! im selling one at the moment but it does have a dibbs on, but if they dont want it, put a second dibbs on it and its yours!! link to my selling topic:  l viewtopic.php?f=37&t=46416 l
