I need a bit of help on this one.

I own Y2 SLY but have since changed to T50 AF.  I want to sell the first plate but where can I advertise something like this.  I don't think Ebay would be a good idea.  Also what sort of money do you think it is worth?

The retention is up in August so I need to act fast.

Thanks Adam

Adam,

you can advertise vertually anywhere, but if you are after exposure be prepared to pay a handling fee to someone like reg transfer.

THe porcess for changing ownership is relatively stright forward as you will know, it's just where to get best exposure!

Why not advertise on the stand at JAE - Cash buyer's are always good!

Best of luck mate.

Cheers

Hi adam, I'd say it's worth £500.  I looked on the DVLA-som site the other day, suprised how many plates have been sold, was thinking of buying a plate for my bro but they are running out fast!  Glad I got the I wanted when I did!  s:D :D s:D

Have you thought about advertising it in Auto trader? Or on their on-line site?

Alternatively, get the phone directory out and phone up every person with the surname 'Sylvester' to see if they're interested in buying a numberplate!!   s:wink:  s:wink:
