The day after my last update, our little bundle came two weeks early on 31.07.2025 at 06:55AM.

Felix is our first child, and I'll admit that I seriously struggled with the change at first, but after three months, he started smiling and laughing, which made the sleep deprivation (he is an extremely 'Active Sleeper') so much easier to bear.

So, the MR2 has gone on the back burner a little. I did get the front coilover top mount bearings replaced, which has fixed the knock thankfully.

Apart from that, it is now SORN, and tucked away in the garage once again, awaiting next year where I hope to get a chance to go to Oulton Park for a trackday.

Congrats 🎊

Here he is!
(Oh, I did my first Marathon too - great timing I know!)

Another year, another clean MOT pass!
That's 5 in a row now.

Car hasn't been started or moved since July last year.

Gave it three 15-second cranks (with ECU fuse removed) to build oil pressure. Started on the button.

Have treated it to some mint condition wing mirrors to celebrate (original ones were both cracked at the bottom), and as an added bonus, they now fold!

What a great car.

Is pulling that fuse to stop it firing?
