My alarm on my car isn't working. I have done the tests to try and set it off but nothing. The doors lock with the central locking but then nothing happens. I can even open the door with the key and start the engine. Could this be the alarm ecu or something else.

Quick check... is it plugged in? It is located in the frunk under the spare wheel.

Yes, that was the first thing I checked, still had the foam on the connection

Next thing would be to check the ecu which has a sensitivity dial on it.  Its under the rear bins.
