Boy have Toyota been busy over the last 3 years...

Firstly the new car feels much more SOLID. It feels faster but more planted on the road. I went for the TTE exhaust, red leather, and sat nav and its a go'er!

The new suspension settings make it  a much better motorway car but Im thinking strongly about fitting the TTE lowering springs as I feel the new car is not as chuckable as the old one. Perhaps it will firm up as the suspension settles but Im not 100% convinced, thus the comment on the new springs.

Overall very happy, really like the new 6 speed box and dropping from 6th to 3rd really gets the TTE exhaust excited! GREAT!

I have a 2003 model with tte springs. They improve a lot the handling of the car, mainly at high speed. If you can, change to yellow konis,  that will make a big big difference  s:) :) s:)

Will be ordering my new 04 later this week - thanks for info ninjinski. Ours will be used mostly as a GT going down to France next year, so your comments about motorway manners fill me with glee, as does the longer legged 6MT.

Now just to convince the g/f that the TTE exhaust is a necessary option. Just out of interest what did you pay for yours, the dealer is currently at £600 and I guess the target should be around £450?
