Quote from: "Jrichards20"Get a genuine Mr t one if that's the only one that isn't?

Glad to see you wife hasn't throttled you then!

Yeah it's just that one, all the other are Mr T and they are staying tight.

No matter how much I tried to convince her the car was not wider just an optical illusion from the colour change it didn't work, I think she wanted to throttle me but packing the bags for the holiday helped her forget. And for some strange reason she thinks I've spent 5k on it including buying the car...   s:shock:  s:shock:

So I will happily leave that thought in her head..   s:D :D s:D

Hey Lee, get some locking nuts for and studs. On the 200sx the manifold has never leaked. I re used my old ones. Something like this  m http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 33&alt=web m

Or maybe just get the Mr T one lol!

Quote from: "Davegtst"I've got a greedy profec boost controlled linked to the emanage.  It looks great and has loads of features but it's not brilliant at holding constant boost.   I've always found a simple grainger valve works best.

Yeah I've got a turbosmart one on now, holds boost really well . I could always change for the dual version of mine. I just wanted a high and low boost, so I can keep it on low for pootleing  around

Quote from: "Mark A"Did you primer or prep the paint on the metal panels or just spray straight on top of the orginal paint?

Mark

I just flattened the stock paint and sprayed over it in black.

She looks so hot in that colour!

*dribble*

Yes it's one wide ass now....
As for the boost Controller, I have high and low on the HKS EVC (on the 200sx) and once you have had it on high I don't think u will ever use the low setting. Unless it snows maybe lol!

I fitted another new gasket yesterday and used some spikey washers I found at work. I've done about 50 mile in it and all seems good so far.
I think it must have been slightly blowing ever since I fitted the turbo and I've just not realised until it got worse because everything is different now. I had to adjust my map today as the fueling was out, I have had to give it more fuel under boost even after a ecu reset.
my turbo gets to full boost a lot quicker and fuel consumption is noticeably better.

Next plan is replace cobra with own built system

Get yourself some oval locking nuts. I had to do this on the TTE manifold as the standard ones kept rattling off.

Yes mate. At the minute it's annoying me because it's a bit high at the front and a bit low at the back. Looks like I'm towing an invisible caravan

Look forward to seeing the new ride height!

I'm being lazy this week!.. still not fixed the saab yet, got a fuel pump, timing belt, water pump sat waiting.

Prob do saab this evening or tomorrow then coilovers on the 2 Saturday morning.

Still deciding what to do with the exhaust,  thinking about straight through with pipes coming out either side of the number plate.
Its loud but the sound matches the look, it's not an everyday car so could get away with it.
see YouTube clip below for mr2 with straight through

You've got the power, you've got the looks, I think you should have the sound as well.

Either side of the exhaust would be good, and then you can put an even bigger diffuser on the back!   s:bounce: :bounce: s:bounce:

Small observation-

Standard car- people/enthusiasts look, nobody wants to race.

Jdl bodykit/turbo - people look, kids love it. Everybody wants to race, impreza's, m3's, even boy racers in corsa's, can't enjoy a drive without people driving like idiots around you.

Wide body/chameleon colour/turbo- everybody looks, kids love it. Nobody wants to race.   s:D :D s:D

I can enjoy my driving again!. Go for a relaxing drive Without people being idiots around me driving up my a$$ trying to prove their car is faster,

They are jaguar xkr vents, just some cheap replica ones from eBay. Cut the holes and stuck them in.
