Quote from: "CrazySX"As for the quad copter thing are you doing it or watching it?

you can be flying for about £200, and the good thing is that they are rock solid so you only break propellers which are to be viewed as a consumable like fuel in the car...

go to  m http://www.banggood.com m  and have a look. It's not porn, honest...!

Thats a VERY good website, probably called banggood as you get a good bang for your buck :p

I just ordered a mini H8, see how i get on with it before i spend more  s:D :D s:D

Ok, completely off topic and nothing to do with mr2's.....

Have a look at this beauty I've just finished , took me 3 days to build. Everything soldered directly onto the flight controller because of the limited space, but managed to squeeze everything in.

Even made a little ground station for it... How geeky am I !!

Size comparison with zmr250

And what about this one..... Especially usefull for irritating my missus

Ok as for the car... I'm putting my low profiles back on the front tomorrow so at least it will be drivable then dropping the rear some more, then if I can be bothered I will have a drive around a few scrap yards to see what I can find.

Ok, me and the mr2 are friends again.

I've put the old tyres back on the front, at least I can drive around corners now.

It doesn't look too bad against the wide ones on the rear, little bit of an arch gap but at least it's even with the rear.

Next plan is ,do something with the arches

The fronts never looked as out of place as the back I didn't think anyway. So probably not going to look much different reducing the front. And you can drive now so even better!

Any update with the exhaust?

The rears don't look too out of place now, I think with the civic trims colour coded and fabricated around the inside of the arches it will look perfect with front and rear tyres just tucked under.... Well that's how in looks in my head, if in reality it's the same I don't know.

Need to ask my friend if he has room in his workshop yet to do my exhaust.. Hopefully will give him the car soon to do his thing.

I've shown the car some love today and washed it.

This is the current stance.. actually not too bad. I think if I lower the rear a little will do for now.

One more for Scott before he complains about my roof being up...

The rear wheels need to come out about another 20mm would make a massive difference to the look

Lee I had to cut away my inner splash guard on the front but I had my wheels made to spec by J Line In America. Front was 8 inch wide by 17inch with -22 offset
I run 205/40/17

Rear 9.5 inch wide by 17 inch with -24 offset 245/40/17
when I\'m not in traction, I\'m in action

Cheers mate...

That's the info I've been missing , those numbers make sense.
Your tyre diameters are about the same as mine now and everything clears.
I'm running 205/40 17 on the front and 235/45 17 on the rear. All on 7.5" wheels.
Your wider wheels help the offset.. I might just try and buy 2 rota's the same as mine but wider with more offset just for the rear and keep the fronts as they are.

Cheers

Sorry... have not had a spare minute last couple of months.

Not forgotten my friends on here!.

January is the month for car work as my missus will be visiting family.

Decided to change the colour as the chameleon is nice but OTT. Going for the bmw frozen black look.
.
Planning to rebuild the engine, it magically stopped smoking and running really nice. With the odd plume after engine braking for long distance then accelerating.

And going to finish all the little jobs I never got round to.

Need to fit a header on the charge cooler line if anyone has any suggestions for a small ally tank or something,  it's a pain to properly bleed without one.

Get the car ready so I can do some meets next year.

Nice to hear from you Lee.
I think rich has a good solution for header tank.
She is off home in January then. Let the spending commence!

Hey Lee, good to hear from you! I think leave the colour alone. Shows off the curves well! Everyone has black. Also dark colours show off imperfections badly.

Just give the car a flat and polish and it will be as good as gold!

Just sort of the engine stuff first. Else we will be in July and you will have a half finished paint job and a half done engine :p

Crazy is right.
Get engine sorted first.
Body work is just what she looks like it's what she goes like that is most important.  s;) ;) s;)
