Start fresh then you know it will be good.
Mine gave me trouble for so long still park in gear.

Yeah, probably for the best.

Where's the best place to get some calipers?

I think it looked good all black personally but the orange is ok, the bodykit is so wild that subtle looks good, it doesnt need to shout.

I agree about the brakes, best to change the calipers so you know they are good. Lots of people are happy with brakeparts;

Lee, how did I miss this.  Car looks awesome in black. However it didn't look so bad below. I think the black hides some of the lines which the chameleon showed off. But still looks like a supercar now  s;) ;) s;)

Personally I would lose the orange on the wheels and simply add a coloured nose badge,a red one.

Thanks   s8) 8) s8)  gotta be doing something right!

Quote from: "StuC"As you have been posting pictures over the week it has grown more and more on me as all black. Ironic, huh?  s:lol:  s:lol:

I like the orange highlights on the wheels though.  s:-D :-D s:-D
Perhaps an orange nose badge would finish the look? It doesn't need much more.
when I first did mine it was matte black with orange handles, vent trim, wing tips, lights and bumper trim. Too much orange takes away the black finish. I changed it to just orange handles, lights and callipers. Although, my hard top has an orange stripe. I found this not only less=more but it also made the car look lower and wider.... not that wider is a problem for you!  s;) ;) s;)

as for the callipers, you know they just sandblast old ones and fit a new seal kit to re-con them. You can get the seal kit from Mr T, strip and paint them  s:wink:  s:wink:

You're back then  s:) :) s:)   where did you go?

Spoiler looks good, need to see it on! Not sure it would suit a stock 2, but yours is a different kettle.

Will get it on in the morning, had to fill the holes and respray the boot/bonnet(whatever it's called ) because the old spoiler.
The plastidip peeled off it really nice... Impressed with it.

Went fuerteventura... Was nice and warm, canaries aren't my favourite but not much choice this time of year without spending a fortune.    s8) 8) s8)

I didn't think too much of the old one too but it looked better than a little one with the kit

Can't help but think the spoiler needs to be lower and at more of a flatter angle.  Or is it supposed to be that high? Just my 2p.

It is now..   s:D :D s:D
I didn't tighten the brackets enough, the wind adjusted it its self. I've just tightened them up where they are

That's it now... Still not sure if its the right angle, no idea how these are supposed to sit

Went for mot today, first time I have drove it more than a couple hundred metres in 2 months.. Failed on handbrake, happy with that as emissions everything ok, first mot since turbo.
Will fix the brakes this weekend then it will be back on the road.

I like that photo by the big pipe.

I would have said that the angle of the spoiler  looked better before.

It looks more like it will generate lift rather than downforce now?

Could just be the angle of the picture but be careful the first time you get it up to speed!

That's great news!! Sticky calipers are a known issue so should be pretty straight forward to resolve! Spoiler does look better now.

Is that dirt on ur skirt? Looks like the car is sitting on a pallet lol

Got the handbrake working.... I didn't do the self adjust procedure right when I changed the pads, doh!
Did it again and everything works now.

Double the engine power, easy no problem... Change the rear pads, do it wrong   s:oops:  s:oops:

Hi Lee, did you use Plastidip for the new colour or is it matte spray? One hell of a mean looking car.

Plastidip mate. Looks better from a distance than close up. Need to do it again now I've got the hang of it, cheap enough to do though. And good for me because I change my mind a lot!

Also washed it today! Got rid of the pallet look side skirts lol crazysx
