Hello all.

I'm not interested in power or noise but do want to tidy up engine bay (less clutter) are the cheap induction kits ok ? Do all bits still plug in, I dont wan any issues if I do it

Yup. As long as the MAF is there and reachable by the wire, all good. The stock setup is pretty good mind. Especially for a stock car. And you do get a LOT more noise from a short open filter intake.

I had the Pipe in the original post and it did sound nice
Didn't notice any performance gain but certainly was louder and more sporty sounding under load

The original airbox and inlet are very hard to beat for engine performance and economy.

True
I think the fuel economy thing is in part down to the noise.... The aftermarket filter encourages one to put ones foot down a little more   s:lol:  s:lol:

Two spot on posts.
The better (sounding) the intake, the lower your mpg  s:) :) s:)

Is that why the v6 only does 25 mpg?
