They look nice but I can't see the point really....

Cared for stock cars have sub-frames that are a good 10-12 years old, now we know the problem, regular treatment on a replaced stock would last as long as you wanted it to, 10-12-15 years, so in reality how many of you are going to keep a now 10 to 15 year old vehicle another 15 years?

Just a thought   s:wink:  s:wink:

I've never spent this much money on maintenance I'm not planning on ever selling.
As stated early this would be extremely useful if running a bigger gearbox.
We're not all happy with 140bhp.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Having owned and ran my first roadster as a daily drive for 10 years covering 100.000 miles, I do know that the way I looked after it the subframe was in an as new condition when it met its end in Tuscany, now that I have replaced the subframe on my present roadster because of a less than ideal location or lack of TLC in the past, I don't see there being any problems with it lasting as long as or even longer than my first car as long as I look after it in the same way...

This might be of interest, i appreciate it's not a Roadster but I paid over a £1k for a similar rear subframe for my Impreza, it's possible the price for a Roadster could be a little lower and closer to £400.

These guys in Texas designed and built a tube type crossmember to accommodate a 2GR engine swap.  I thought they were going to produce them, but now I can't find the picture or mention of it on their website.  Those interested might contact them.
