Not sure you'll find anything that would fit without having do at least some modification :s,but I might be wrong!
Twice owned the exact same 2, second time round it blew up 😭
On the hunt for my next one!

searched for ages to get a sub to fit into the mr2 , just cannot buy anything for mk3 ;-(
the dimensions are a real PITA , so ended up with an 8" tube that just fits in and still allows roof to collapse
already had the kenwood amp i took out of my other car when upgrading to kicker solobaric , so recycled that and bought the rest of the following new ....

kicker 6.5" front - 200w RMS each @ 4ohm
sound storm class A/B 2 channel amp  85w x 2 @ 4ohms

kenwood 715 mono amp 200w RMS @ 4ohm
bass face 8" tube 400w RMS @ 4ohm

JVC double din head unit

for a nice simple fit this all works well , kicker fronts slip in nicely with brackets pulled off existing speakers , 2 amps slot into the storeage boxes perfectly , and the tube sits in there without the need for any bungee elastics or clamps to hold in place even with the roof down . the tube has made a massive difference to the sound . for the £30 for the tube i would have paid that alone even if it didnt have the speaker in it . so i figured use this for a bit and buy a new 8" better driver in the near future to replace the bass face one .

hope it helps someone ...

I bought a Focal powered subwoofer. Its probably not a perfect solution . But it is pretty good, and it fits behind the passenger seat...
1MZFE, Emerald ECU, LSD, BC coilovers, custom middle & front under brace, F / R strut brace. Slotted discs & yellow pads, Blue flame exhaust.
Carrera leather seats, Davids bars, Focal subwoofer & voce speakers & bling !
TRD Stage 2 F & R spoilers,  Haltezza bonnet, C1 side vents, JDL rear panel

ive always wondered what the subs mounted flat with no cabinet would sound like , seems a strange concept but must work if good brand names make them . just nice to have a decent sound in the mrs !

There was a company that made fibreglass boxes which simply slotted straight in after you removed the chubby door. I can't remember the name, they fitted well and sounded nice. Best option would be to make one.
Another one won't hurt  .....
