Cheap alpine sub?

Just found this, looks a good deal. Would this be good in one of the bins?

If it fits behind seat it yeah seems a good buy. Another option would be the underdash sub. Search forum for more info.
Another one won't hurt  .....

There's four here, the £98 kenwood, the £105 Pioneer, the little Kenwood and the round In Phase (£120) that will all fit under the dash above the pedals, best place for a sub in a '2

The Alpine you've linked would be better in a "normal" car, without doubt

I like the look of that small kenwood one, looks like it gets very good reviews.

May have to look into this as have been feeling my sound needs more (well, some!) bass.

I have the £105 Pioneer tucked up over the pedals, Shnazzle has the In Phase £120 one, both really chuffed with how they sound

Bit fiddly to get them up there, but once done they take no space and unlikely to be stolen from there

Even works with the top down!

I was about to go out to the car and have a look under the dash but then it started to hammer down with rain.

Do you remove the plastic cover under the steering wheel, fit the sub and then put the plastic cover back?

How do you secure one of these in place?

I did have a search for under dash subs but that mostly brings up details of the enclosures for a sub so not quite the same. What I like about these is that they are active so you dont need an amp as well. I would not want an amp but having just put a new pioneer head unit in the sound does need more bass.

Has anyone got a picture of what one of these looks like in place?

I can recommend the Kenwood. I've got one in my old Mercedes under the passenger seat and it fills the low end out nicely. If you're looking for serious boom boom though I'd look elsewhere.
