My OEM passenger mat is still in a great shape. The drivers side however has been demolished by high heels and has a hole in it as well  s:( :( s:(

Patrick,

Should you be driving in your high heels?

Yeah but surely heel and toeing is more difficult, should keep a pair of flats in the car and change when you get there, you could always get some of those fold up shoes that go in your handbag.

Still no sign of my aftermarket mats but here's a quick pic of the drivers side Toyota mat in situ.

Cheers,

My aftermarket mats were delivered on friday.

This is them on top of the standard ones,

They dont fit quite as well as the oems, probably down to the location of the holes which is ever so slightly out but the outline is pretty much the same. It looks like the hooks wont do much because the carpet is stopped going forwards by the footrest more than the hooks but shouldnt be a problem.

Should be better with those heels though!

It's the damage the mats do to my shoes that's more worrying to me. Cos your driving position in the 2 has your legs more horizontal, the backs of my work shoes get worn & the heels have been getting loosened.

I'd happily pay more for a good wool mat   s:( :( s:(

I got these off E-bay.
They came from Ambassador Mats in Standish near Wigan and cost £25.00
You choose the colours and logo.
I use industrial strength velcro to fix the mats down and it works a treat.
They have been in the car for over 12 months and there is no sign of wear.

Yes, have to agree, my cheap ones very quickly started to wear so I have just jet washed my toyota ones and put them back in, even though they are wearing through in the heel area!

My car had no mats at all when they got it, managed to get oem used but as new from eBay for £20!
Having had a few cars with oem mats I'd not go back, I've no idea how old they are in my Celica but the car is 12 and they still look good if not brand new.
Wife had Ford Ines which were pretty thin, but her juke ones aren't bad.

Something that did surprise me with the roadster was the felt iron-on logo rather than it be embroidered (Celica ones are) is this a definite OEM thing? Seems that way in this thread but I was actually worried they may not be genuine.
