Softtop with style/rollbars

I know that none of these actually prevent the use of softtop, but can you still use it from within the car? I lower it with a "slamdunk" during warm weather, so I wouldn't be able to do that with a bar. And to lift I just release the lock, use my left hand to raise it a bit (to be able to grab it with the wind deflector up) and then my right hand to swing it back up. Again a nono with a bar.
(left and right being vice versa in UK)

Have you guys figured out how to use the top from the drivers seat? Just use two hands to get by the bar or what...?
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

I can still raise / lower the top from the drivers seat with the David's bars I have....

Ah yeah, I meant a bar that's level on top and runs a bit above the seats all the time...

You can do it with the Netz bar, but then that does dip in the middle.

I'm after the Techno PRO Spirit one, but yes, it's similar to the TTE/TRD one in this matter.

Looking at that I would say it will be really awkward from inside the car - slam dunking should still work, but getting it back up will be another matter.

Works ok with the TTE although it takes 2 movements to do it where you swith your hand to the other side of the bar  s:) :) s:)

I have one of these in my garage that i dont use.

It can be mounted purely to the seat anchorages if you dont want to drill through the floor!

BTW. Me and Kerrie had no trouble lifting or folding the roof from inside the car when it was fitted!
